High Peak Jn visitor centre includes a shop and the restored railway workshops. A car park is nearby, accessed from Lea Road across the Cromford Canal and River Derwent. To the left is the C&HPR trackbed. Some old brake vans occupy a short stretch of rebuilt track, beyond which is the wheel pit for the bottom of Sheep Pasture incline.
