This was a visit by a group of colleagues and former colleagues from Preston and Trafford Park works, and friends and families.
I had last visited the island in 1988 - see albums.
As well as the obvious attraction of having some very interesting railways, there is plenty of opportunity for walking, for those who wish for some more exercise.
