Eastwards from Kumanovo, a line was built in 1956 to Beljakovce, though disused by 1994. This view just east of Beljakovce clearly shows a much older section than the post-1994 new build route further east towards Kriva Palanka on the proposed Pan-European Corridor VIII route between Kumanovo, north of Skopje in North Macedonia, and Gueshevo in Bulgaria.
