Close to the Srbinovo standard gauge viaduct, the former 600 mm gauge route from Skopje to Gostivar, Kičevo and Ohrid runs along the same valley. This line opened in 1916 and closed in 1966 south of Gostivar. Gostivar to Ohrid used to take 17 hours for the 167 km journey. Here the trackbed is seen running away from the camera, and the standard gauge route can be seen across the valley.
