The Bilbao Metro line 2 station at Indauxti. Metre gauge, electrified at 1.5 kV dc; note the conventional wiring here: some stations have bar overhead conductors. An interesting feature of the Bilbao Metro underground stations is that the lighting is dimmed somewhat until just before a train arrives, presumably as an energy saving measure.
