The path here is the post-1893 alignment of the Glazebrook East Jn to Skelton Jn line, closed in 1984, looking south-eastwards towards Cadishead station. To the left at the lower level is the pre-1893 alignment, which actually stayed open longer than the newer line to serve an oil terminal. Note the concrete cable supports, now only supporting the branch of a tree .
