At Peterborough, GBRf diesel locomotive 66706 was attached to the front of Electric Traction Ltd.'s electric locomotive 86401 to haul 1Z20 (Harwich International to Edinburgh Waverley via Stratford and the East Coast Main Line) between Peterborough and Doncaster over the non-electrified line via Spalding, the Sleaford Avoiding Line and Lincoln. This was due to overnight repairs being carried out to damaged overhead wiring in the Retford area. This was "Day N" of the 2016 GB Railfreight XV 4-day Charity Railtour.
