Saturday 30 March 1985. This is the former LNWR depot at Aintree, built in the 1930s on the site of one dating back to the 1880s. It was alongside the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway's Bootle Jn - Sefton Jn - Fazakerley line, in the V of the connection from Sefton Jn into the L&YR's Aintree station. Closed 1967.
