A view of the pantograph well on a Class 91 locomotive, taken from the footbridge at Leeds station.

Connected together, left to right: Brecknell-Willis high speed pantograph, energy meter transducer assembly, Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB), high voltage surge absorber, inrush limiting reactor; farthest to the right is the top insulator for the down cable to the main transformer, which is underframe mounted.

Above and to the left of the VCB is the Earth Switch, in the open position of course since the pantograph is raised. Above the Earth Switch is the upper vent for one of the two rheostatic brake stacks.
