Leicester North station, the southern terminus of the Great Central Railway heritage railway.
This is a newly built station just to the south of the former Belgrave & Birstall station, the disused access to which can be seen on the bridge in the background. Belgrave & Birstall was opened in 1899 by the Great Central Railway, and closed to passengers in 1963. Leicester North opened in 1991.
