Here at León, there are four terminal platforms: platforms 4 (to the left) and 2 are laid with standard gauge track, for high speed trains towards Madrid, while platforms 1 and 3 to the right are laid with broad gauge track for other services. Out of sight to the right and at a lower level, through platforms 9 and 11 are generally used by broad gauge services towards Oviedo.
