Looking down from the course of the Guadiana Railway, about 2.5 km from the Guadiana River terminus at La Laja, towards the location where the railway formation crosses the HU-6400 El Granado - Pomarão road at right angles. The trackbed distance to the road crossing is about 1.2 km, due to the round-about route needed to make the descent at a reasonable gradient.
