The wharf area at Pomarão, the terminus of the São Domingos to Pomarão Line, where ore was transferred to ships on the River Guadiana. This view is from the observation point for the nearby Chanza Dam. The railway curved in from the first valley to the right: this is the location of the short tunnel seen in some of the photos in this album.
