RENFE (Red Nacional de los Ferrocarriles Españoles, Spanish National Railways) metre gauge diesel railcars 2912 and 2906 at Los Nietos, the terminus of the 20 km line from Cartagena. This line started life as a 1067 mm gauge line from Cartagena to La Unión, where the silver and lead mines date back to Roman times. The line was extended to Los Nietos and converted to metre gauge in 1976.
