Close to the disused metre gauge viaduct at Pocinho but at a lower level, the remains of a steam locomotive boiler are in an old building in a works area. Presumably the boiler provided process or power steam for the works. There is a crude hopper arrangement at the edge of the line, to allow coal to be dropped directly from wagons to the stationary boiler.
