Medway class 1400 diesel locomotive 1422 at Entroncamento. Class 1400 were designed by English Electric (EE) in the late 1960s and have a 1370 hp (970 kW) EE 8CSVT engine. At this point the PTG tour train was bypassing the Entroncamento station area using the goods lines on the east side.
