$Train IR876 has just arrived into Porto Campanhã from Pocinho in the Douro Valley led by Comboios de Portugal (CP) class 1400 diesel locomotives 1424 and 1432, the latter being \ dead\ . The train will continue with the five minute journey to Porto\'s São Bento station. Class 1400 were designed by English Electric (EE) in the late 1960s and have a 1370 hp (970 kW) EE 8CSVT engine. These are the last diesel locomotives working passenger services in Portugal and have a big following from British railway enthusiasts, being an uprated of the UK Class 20 locomotive.$
