Parbold station, signal box and level crossing, looking towards Wigan. The signal protecting the level crossing has been replaced with a modern LED colour light signal, but the other signals visible are all semaphore signals. In the distance Parbold's Up Section signal and Chapel Lane Crossing's Up Distant signal can be seen, both in the clear position.
