10/06/2022. Taken from Latchford High Level Bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal, "Swami" is waiting for Knutsford Road swing bridge to finish opening before proceeding. "Swami" is en route empty from Weaste (Eccles) to Limerick in Ireland, a regular on the bulk cement flows between Ireland and Weaste. The viaduct formerly carried the LNWR Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway, the Ship Canal's Railway Deviation No.3, but it closed to all rail traffic in 1985.
