Transpennine Express bi-mode unit 802208 working 9M12 0649 York to Liverpool Lime Street, 0822 off Manchester Victoria. In a sane country the whole line would have been electrified years ago, and it does now seem to be happening though very slowly; meanwhile the 802 has to run this far in diesel mode, panning up here in the station ready to work to Liverpool in 25 kV ac mode.
