The main station building at the former 'Turkish' station in Be'er Sheva. The station was opened in October 1915 to serve a military railway that was intended to connect Palestine with Egypt, but these plans never came to fruition. Despite all the museum artefacts being of standard gauge, the station only ever had 1050 mm gauge tracks, the same as many railways in the area at the time including the Hejaz Railway.
