91001 being prepared to work the 17:36 service from London King's Cross to Peterborough on 06/03/1989. This was the third ever passenger working for a Class 91 locomotive, the previous ones being the 17:36 on the previous Friday evening 03/03/1989 and the 06:40 from Grantham to London King's Cross on the morning of the 6th. The formation was 8 Mk.3 carriages and a' surrogate Driving Van Trailer' High Speed Train power car, which I didn't note the number of. I took this train as far as the first stop at Huntingdon.
