Tunstead Quarry, taken from the public footpath that climbs south from the road at Great Rocks Jn. To the left, Great Rocks Tunnel is 161 yards long and is the route of the former main line between London St Pancras and Manchester, open to passengers between 1867 and 1968. Nowadays the left hand track is the line through to Buxton, the right hand track is now a siding and forms an alternative route to the loading sidings visible further to the right.
