The coaches for train 397 were a mixture: two un-refurbished ex-Deutsche Reichsbahn coaches owned by ŽRS (Željeznice Republike Srpske) sandwiching a nicely refurbished ŽFBH (Željeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine) first class coach. Unfortunately the latter was detected as defective at Volinja and was shunted off the train at Dobrljin.
