"Daniel Adamson" is now tied up in Marsh Lock, as narrow boat "Lockdown" enters alongside us. Note the railway-style semaphore signals at either end of the lock: a feature of all the Weaver Navigation locks, and originally used by lockkeepers to manage the flow of traffic, they have been disused for a long time.
