Looking north-westwards as we enter March Lock at Weston. From right to left are visible Rock Savage chemical works, the continuation of the Manchester Ship Canal heading towards Manchester, the Weaver Sluices and the concrete wall behind which, at a lower level, is the River Mersey. Narrow boat "Lockdown" will follow us into Marsh Lock.
