The high level railway bridges over the River Mersey at Walton, looking roughly northwards. The two appear to have been built at separate times, and this is confirmed on old maps. The right span is the Railway Deviation No.1 opened in 1893, the left one dates from a few years later and is now the only one in use. This view shows a side-on view of these bridges.
