769442 arriving at Salford Crescent while working train 2W44, 0808 Wigan Wallgate to Stalybridge via Bolton and Manchester Victoria. This train should have worked through from Southport, but it was cancelled between Southport and Wigan due to a fault. Its previous working, 2F44 0612 Wigan Wallgate to Southport, was also cancelled for the same reason. The unit will have changed from diesel mode to AC mode at Bolton, and will change from AC mode to diesel mode at Manchester Victoria.
