A closer view of the route of the Flow Moss tramway: nearer the camera is the remains of the 1873 CLC alignment, beyond is the post-1893 alignment with its own bridge over the tramway still intact though somewhat filled in. The nearer bridge was used for many years for rail access to Irlam Soap and Candle Works.
