The railway route between Knjaževac and Niš passes through a long limestone gorge with many bridges and tunnels. On this date the 11:07 train from Zaječar to Niš comprised JŽ diesel locomotive 661-138, two coaches, a mail van and 25 empty coal wagons. In this view backwards down the train, some of the wagons can be seen, the end of the train being beyond the second tunnel.
