Looking eastwards from the footbridge connecting Devon Road and Parsonage Road in Flixton along the Cheshire Lines Committee railway between Manchester Central and Liverpool Central via Warrington Central. Flixton station is visible beyond the next overbridge, the B5158 Flixton Road. The footbridge is over the post-1893 alignment of Manchester Ship Canal Railway Deviation No.5; trailing in from the left was the original 1873 alignment.
