The end: Skelton Jn, looking westwards from Moss Lane bridge. The single track to the centre is the sidings stub of the line to Glazebrook East Jn. To the right is the double track curve towards Deansgate Jn and Altrincham. Just out of view to the left is the diverging course of the Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway, heading for Latchford and Warrington, closed to all traffic in 1985. Skelton Jn signal box used to stand just to the left here, it was removed in about 1990 when Deansgate Jn box took over the area. [30.12]
