Dunham Road bridge looking roughly north-eastwards. The nearer span (steel beams) is over the original main line alignment, the newer span (concrete beams) beyond was presumably added when the Partington chemical works branch was built sometime in the 20th Century. This branch diverged to the north at Partington Jn a few hundred metres west of this bridge. East of here the trackbed was at or above the level of the surrounding fields, west of here it is in cutting so can get rather wet.
