Looking back from the A54 (Buxton - Macclesfield road) towards the Macclesfield Old Road bridge. On the foreground where the blue vehicle is parked was Colliery Junction, the branch to Goyt Colliery continued to the left for about 0.5 km; this branch closed in 1902.
