Ukrainian Railways (UZ) M62-1260 at Chernivtsi about to work regular service train train 968, 08:30 Chernivtsi to Sokyriany. Sokyriany was as far as we could go as the passenger service over the border to Ocniţa in Moldova ceased in 2014, and suitable customs arrangements could not be made for us to cross the border by train. As it was, on train 968 we crossed the Ukraine / Moldova border six times, getting eight stamps in our passports in the process!
