This building was part of the main railway station in Skopje until it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1963. This station had been built in the late 1930s to replace the original station built in 1873 when the railway from Thessaloniki to Skopje opened. The damaged station was turned into the City Museum and a new station built in a different location. This is a view on the platform side of the main building.
