As the BLS Railtour was arriving at the test track at Żmigród, PKP InterCity electric locomotive EU160-010 (91 51 5 170 097-7) could be seen performing "slip coach" tests with a new carriage on the test track itself. For these tests a special coupling attaches the carriage to the locomotive, and a set speed the coupling is disconnected. The stopping distance of the carriage itself can then be checked at various different brake pressures.
