Main exhibit at the Be'er Sheva 'Turkish' station museum is this steam locomotive, built in the UK to the Stanier 8F 2-8-0 design during the Second World War for use by the British Army's Middle East Forces. Some 8Fs were used in Palestine, and later by Israel Railways, but this specific example was only ever used in Turkey as their number 45166. It returned to the UK in 2010 but then was sold to the museum here in 2012.
